At Trinity School Lahore, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for every student. As part of our ongoing efforts to promote kindness, respect, and empathy, we launched an anti-bullying campaign under the theme #ChooseRespect. Our goal is to create a campus where every student feels valued and respected.
Throughout the year, we focused on activities that encouraged students to reflect on the impact of their actions and the importance of empathy. One of the key initiatives was the Empathy Circles, led by our wellness counselor, Sheherbano Taseer. These sessions gave students a safe space to talk about bullying, share their experiences, and understand the emotional consequences of their actions.
In addition, we introduced the Buddy Bench, a simple but powerful idea to ensure no student feels left out. Students who feel lonely or need a friend can sit on the Buddy Bench, signaling to others that they’re in need of support. This initiative has helped foster a culture of kindness and inclusivity.
We also engaged students in poster-making activities, where they shared their thoughts on respect and kindness through creative art. These posters were displayed throughout the school, serving as a constant reminder of our shared responsibility to create a positive environment.
To reinforce these messages, we created a video sharing the story of a boy who experienced bullying and how it affected him. This powerful video helped students connect with the real-world impact of bullying and emphasized the importance of empathy in building a respectful community.
Through these efforts, we’ve worked hard to make sure that Trinity School remains a place where every child can thrive in a bully-free environment. We’re proud of our students for embracing the values of empathy and respect, and we’ll continue to foster a culture where kindness is at the heart of everything we do.
