On Thursday, 9th October, Trinity School Lahore held its 2nd Annual Student Council Oath-Taking Ceremony.
Hosted in the school’s Gymnasium, the ceremony was marked with a glistening atmosphere that endowed the commencement of a pledge and the beginning of a new chapter for student leadership and responsibility.
The event brought together learners from all streams, faculty, and proud parents to celebrate the induction of Trinity’s new vicegerents in the form of the student council.
The ceremony inaugurated with a warm welcome to the attendees, followed by a badge clipping observation and eventually the abiding formal oath administered by the Head of School, Mr. Taimur K. Bandey.
In his address to the newly appointed council, the School Head reflected upon Trinity’s enduring values of Empathy, Excellence, and Endeavour, urging student leaders to embody these principles in their conduct and by equipping themselves with the armor of service, foster their leadership throughout the academic year.
Followed by the oath, refreshments were served and photographs were taken to commemorate the occasion. The hall was then full of pride, excitement, and promise, as parents and teachers congratulated the learners on their new appointment.
A special mention was made for Eman Amir, who made school history by becoming the first student to hold dual leadership positions within the council—serving as both President of the Robotics Society and President of the Debates Society. Her achievement stands as a testament to Trinity’s commitment to nurturing multifaceted excellence.
Adding a touch of creativity, Ayesha Safdar, our very own Media President, captured the spirit of the day with a light-hearted “Friends”-inspired reel filmed in the back field—making it an odyssey to remember for years.
In essence, the Oath-Taking Ceremony was not just a formal event, but a celebration of leadership, collaboration, and the shared vision that defined Trinity. As the new council steps into its roles, the school community looks forward to a year guided by empathy, excellence, and endeavor.
