Think Pink: A CAS Initiative to Support Breast Cancer Awareness

Think Pink: A CAS Initiative to Support Breast Cancer Awareness

On 22nd October, The IB Diploma Programme of Trinity School Lahore came together to organize Think Pink-a heartfelt CAS initiative dedicated to raising awareness and collecting funds for breast cancer patients. The event stood as a reminder that community action, empathy, and initiation can create grassroot and meaningful impact that transcends beyond the school walls.

Coordinated under the guidance of Miss Anum Waseem, our devoted Creativity-Activity-Service Coordinator, the event was shaped as a purposeful and collaborative experience where the entire school community came together; dressed in pink. Our heartfelt acknowledgement also extended to Miss Abida and Sir Mahad, whose support, presence, and mentorship ensured the smooth execution of the event.

The Carnival event featured a lively and welcoming atmosphere on campus, as learners across the streams took part to set up a range of fundraising stalls, varying from delicious food stands to interactive game stations, each booth reflected creativity, teamwork, and dedication. We are also proud to share how a few Student-run businesses, including 505Candles, participated, demonstrating how personal passion projects can align with service, purpose, and social responsibility.

The most rewarding success of Think Pink was not only the engagement and enthusiasm displayed by students and teachers alike, but the very significant amount of funds raised for breast cancer patients.

Beyond fundraising, this carnival offered valuable learning opportunities for Trinity Learners and encapsulated the true spirit of CAS: to engage in meaningful action driven by empathy, consciousness, and shared humanity.

As we reflect on the event, we are reminded that compassion grows in community and that together, we can continue to support those who face challenges with persistence, resilience, courage, and hope.
